Description
WHAT IS THIS SPONSORSHIP?

The STEM Action Center values organizations who are dedicated to increasing opportunities to participate in STEM activities. The primary goal of this sponsorship is to increase student and community participation in STEM events and programs statewide.

The Community Impact Sponsorship is for organizations that provide STEM learning opportunities outside of the regular school day. These could be community organizations, after-school clubs, summer programs, or an organization that works to enhance learning through regular/consistent programming opportunities with student/community participants. In order to apply, you will have to provide a W-9 for your organization. If you are a school or district employee: before applying for this sponsorship, please review other STEM AC funding opportunities such as the Classroom Grant and Competition Grant that might better suit your needs.

Sponsorship awards vary, with a maximum award of $5,000. Please be aware that your organization is not guaranteed the full funding amount. The amount awarded is subject to the amount of applications received AND the amount of funds available (this dollar amount varies every year). Applicants should feel no obligation to request the full amount.
